What are you talking about, it is possible, just not very long (nano-micro-seconds long). In the time your vehicle passes from 3mph to 4mph, your vehicle passes pi... It's just impossible to maintain that speed since it is an infinite number...

There was an interesting artical in thias month's Popular Science magazine that caught me by suprise... it was an article on warp drive and how it might work... very cool...
